Victory Brewing Company Golden Monkey

Golden Monkey is the first tripel style ale I've had. I go back and forth on whether I like this beer or not with every bottle and sometimes a couple of times during a bottle. It has a very strong flavor which I'm never expecting that has a lot of spice and some citrus. It's also more bitter than I expected for a style of beer that contains so much malt. I'll probably try a few more of this style so that I have some point of reference, but I'll be picking up singles rather than 6 packs.
